iOS6: Minuet 2.0 [updated] by nienque iOS6: Minuet 2.0 [updated] by nienque
Minuet 2.0 is a mod of the awesome minimalist Minuet lockscreen. Beside featuring the (slightly altered) Minuet lockscreen, it also features a themed passcode and call interface.

The default version of Minuet has a semi-translucent status bar. If you want the status bar to blend in, download this add-on and place it above Minuet in Winterboard. You will also need to download BlackOut from Cydia to fix the status bar in Photos app.

I tested it on my iPhone 5 running 6.1. Should you come across any problems, please download the most up-to-date version of Minuet 2.0 here to see if it fixes your problem. If not, please make a screenshot and post it in this thread :)

The wallpaper in the preview can be found here.

The status bar dots are by ~bblake and can be found here.

Other tweaks used are Springtomize 2 to hide the carrier logo, OpenNotifier for status bar notifications, Bolt to hide the battery icon and Bytafont to change the font (font used is Klill), all of which can be found on Cydia.

Hi, great mod!! I was wondering if there is a way to change the color of "End" call button text to red? :)

I am afraid I don't know, and I can't test it because I am running iOS7!

is there a way to only have the passcode from this?

Love this theme! I have 2 questions.
1) I have removed the date under the time in the lockscreen, which has left a gap under the time. How can I resize the panel to fit?
2)I downloaded and installed the semi-translucent status bar add-on which is working on the homescreen but it's just matte grey on the lock screen...is this because it is interfering with my other themes? (It is at the top in winterboard)

1) Edit the BarLCD@2x image in com.apple.TelephonyUI.
2) Screenshot please?

Also I noticed that in the original minuet theme the slide to unlock bar is quite thin and lower on the screen. Could you explain how I can make it that way? Sorry I'm new to jailbreaking...

Just download the original theme and use the BarBottomLock@2x image (in com.apple.TelephonyUI) from that theme instead. Basically, with Winterboard themes, (almost) everything is achieved by swapping out images. Have a look at all the image files in the .zip and remove/replace the ones you don't like.

The reason I have made it bigger for this theme is because this image is not just used for the buttom bar on the lock screen, but also when you receive an incoming call. With the original Minuet, the thin bottom bar would look pretty bad in the calling layout.

Thank you for your quick reply! The status bar was indeed interfering with another theme, so I've been able to fix it.

Been using this lockscreen for a few months and I just love it! Just installed a new Cydia tweak called Axis, and the Axis buttons are misaligned with the rest of your lockscreen. However, Axis works fine with this theme disabled. Any suggestions/fixes? Pic: [link]

I imagine that has something to do with the canvas size of that particular image. Could you send me the original images that Axis uses? I don't have Axis myself, you see :)

That worked perfectly, just added padding to the canvases of the graphics I wanted to use and lined up nicely. [link]

You have use iFile to go into your phone and go into the directory, Library>Application Support>Grabber and add padding to the top of the grabber's your using by 32px for retina, and 16px if your not retina.

Great keypad! Thank you. Is there a way of removing the top bar surrounding the 'enter passcode' text? I'd like to have only the keypad on my lock screen.

Thanks in advance!

Yep, it's called BarLCD@2x.png and it's in Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI. If you replace it with a transparent file, it'll be gone.

I replaced the file but it seemed to come up white instead, so I've backed up the folder in deleted the file you mentioned and it seems to of worked! Thanks!

ahh. that makes more sense. I wasnt thinking of it being an app. that Sarif Dialer is pretty cool though. I might have to check out that theme.

Any chance of also expanding this theme to include the Dialer as well?

I am not sure what you envisage that looking like? Cause the Phone app is exactly that, an app. So making it transparent wouldn't yield any particularly nice results, in my opinion.

Here's what I am currently using for my dialer: [link]. It's part of the (paid) Sarif theme, which I highly recommend.

Hey there. First of all really wonderful work, congrats!
What i did like from the 1st version of Minuet though was the minimal unlock dock which also offered you more space for your wallpaper to stand out. I think it would be nice maintaining that (i know that requires some extra editing :)).
Also iOS6 adds the functionality of being able to respond to a call with a "Remind me later" or "Reply with a message". The background image there seems to be the original so you may want to include a transparent background for that in your next update of the theme.
With respect to the effort you placed on that work ..

Thanks for your comment :)

If I were to make the unlock bar smaller, it would make the bottom bar in the telephone UI smaller too, which means it would cut off the 'End' button (the position of which can't be changed). So I decided I rather have a slightly bigger unlock bar on my lock screen and not have the telephone UI out of proportion.

As to the issue with the 'Remind me later' menu, this was addressed in the MacThemes thread. It's code and it can't be themed through Winterboard. Nor do I know of any other way to theme it presently.

If you have any other concerns, please check the thread on MacThemes (link above). Chances are it's already been addressed ;)

If it looks like there is nothing there, just right click and there will be an option to Save As.... it's a transparent file, after all! xD

I like this! Is there any chance you could update it so the status bar background matches the rest of the theme? I'd do it myself, but I'm not confident in my Photoshop skills. :(

Download BlackOut from Cydia to fix the Photos app :)

Try this: [link]

Note that if you use other themes that theme the status bar, it might conflict. In that case, troubleshoot by disabling all other themes except for Minuet and be sure to place the status bar mod on top. If that fixes it, re-enable your themes one by one until it conflicts. Then you'll know the culprit :)

Hey, sometimes all you need is a little inspiration and many great things will stem from it. If I knew how to edit and create themes, there wouldn't be enough space on my computer to store all of my ideas/ creations. I'll have to learn, though, it would be soo cool to do. ^_^

Well, unfortunately iOS uses just one image to render the top and bottom bar in the lock screen and the phone interface. So I am afraid there is no way of changing the one without the other changing as well :/
